Product Review: Wall-Mountable 4-Port USB Desktop Charging Station / Hub with 10-Foot Cable

My Review

For the past few years (prior to getting this charging station) I have used multiple USB wall chargers to charge my iPhones, iPads, and small cameras. Having to have multiple wall chargers plugged into a power strip was inconvenient, unorganized, and complicated. I have been wanting to consolidate my charging situation for quite some time and when I saw this USB charging hub I thought it looked awesome.

It was shipped the same day that I ordered it, and it even arrived a day earlier than I had expected which was a nice surprise! When I opened the box and took out the charging hub I was blown away by its aesthetics and build quality. It is surprisingly light, weighing in at only 7.2 ounces, but when you pick it up it feels very solid and durable. The top is made from either a high quality plastic or from aluminum and looks awesome with my Apple products. The bottom has two anti-slick strips which prevent it from slipping and make it great to keep on a desk, counter, nightstand, or the floor. If you don't want to set the charging hub somewhere, you can easily mount it to the wall.

I love the iSmart Charging Technology that is used in this charging hub! It detects what kind of device is plugged in automatically matches the maximum charging current designed for that device. Being able to use the new technology in many phones and tablets is awesome and allows for a faster charge! Another thing that I like about this charging station is that it is capable of sending 2.4A to each port at the same time which makes it so I can charge multiple iPads and iPhones simultaneously at full speed. I recorded the charging times of several of my devices with this charging station and then compared them to the charging times of my other wall chargers and found that this charging station was considerably faster than the wall chargers. The 10 foot detachable power cable is great, it allows me to just use one outlet and gives plenty of room to move the charging hub around.

This charging station looks great and works even better! So if you are looking to change the way that you charge, I would strongly recommend this charging hub! I like this charging station so much that am going to buy a couple more of these to give as gifts to my dad and older brother.
