Night Provision TX 11 Tactical Flashlight

This is a review for the Night Provision TX 11 1000 Lumen LED Tactical Flashlight. I have a full video review of the TX 11 which goes over the same information. You will receive the flashlight, a metal clip, a tactical holster, extra ring and power button, a lanyard, instruction manual, and a warrantee card. The flashlight has IPX-8 waterproofing and the body is made from anodized aircraft grade aluminum which gives it a sturdy and rugged feel and makes it shock resistant up to 1 meter. This flashlight also comes with a 5-Year Limited Lifetime Warranty as well as a 60-day money back guarantee.

The flashlight measures 7 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. The flashlight has 2 buttons, a rear tactical power button with momentary on and a side mode toggle switch.

The flashlight can be powered using either two lithium CR123a batteries or one 18650 battery, neither of which is included. It is worth noting that using lithium 123a batteries may produce a bit more brightness than the 18650's, but any difference is negligible from my testing. If you don't mind sacrificing a little brightness I would recommend buying a pack of 18650 batteries and a recharger, both of which can be found on Amazon for less than $25 in total and will definitely save you money in the long run.

To get started unscrew the battery cap and install the batteries. To turn on the flashlight simply press the rear power button. Once on there are 5 light modes which can be changed by clicking the side mode toggle switch; firefly, low, mid, high, turbo. There is also a strobe mode which can be turned on by holding the side switch for two seconds while the flashlight is on. On the turbo mode the flashlight can cast a beam 223 meters. A cool feature on this flashlight is that when you turn it on it will be on the mode you last had it on.

Overall I really like this flashlight! It can be extremely bright or very dim depending on the situation you need it for. It is very study and looks like it can hold up the the wear and tear I put on flashlights. I have owned quite a few high end flashlights over years, including several Streamlights, of those the TX 11 is by far the brightest. If this flashlight came with batteries it would be perfect in my opinion, for a flashlight of this price it would be nice if they were included.

Product Review: SHIELDON® Genuine Leather Wallet Phone Case for iPhone 6/6S Devices

The SHIELDON® Genuine Leather Wallet Phone Case is a premium quality handmade wallet case for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S devices. The sense of pride that SHIELDON has about the products that they make is evident as soon as you open the box and see the packaging. The case came in a very nice box, much like the kind you get when you purchase a watch. Inside the box there is a very nice fabric pouch protecting the leather case.

The case itself is made from genuine cowhide leather and uses a polycarbonate shell to hold the phone. Installing and removing an iPhone is easy and struggle free and can be done in seconds. What makes this such a great case is the detailed stitching and premium leather, both of which give the case a stylish appearance and along with an amazing feel.

In addition to its great aesthetics it has three slots for cards or ID and a pocket where you can keep cash. This is especially great for anyone wanting to reduce the items they carry on a daily basis. In today’s society, apps like Apple Wallet and Apple Pay make it easy to digitize all the cards that are overflowing in your wallet, purse, or pockets and reduce minimize what you have to carry all the time. For me this case is perfect for when I am going to the gym or when I just don’t want to carry a full wallet. All I have to do is slide in my driver’s license, debit card, credit card, and some cash and I’m good to go! Another awesome feature with this case is that it folds into a horizontal stand for your iPhone, which is awesome for watching videos and could even be used to record video.

The accessibility to the controls on the sides of the iPhone are great compared to that of other wallet style cases on the market. When the wallet case is closed, the sleep/wake button area is open and can be pressed with ease. The volume buttons on the left side of the iPhone are covered up when the case is closed, but they can easily be used by simply pressing on the outside of the case at the location of the volume buttons. The ring/silent switch is the only one of the side controls that can’t easily be adjusted while the case is closed. But it is not much of a problem since you can easily open the front flap of the wallet case and have full access to where the ring/silent switch is on the left side of the iPhone. This is not an issue in my mind because the ring/silent switch is the least used of the external control for most people.

So far this case has been awesome! It is the best looking wallet style case I have seen, and by far the best made. SHIELDON also makes a brown version of this case which looks great as well. Its the little things like being hand made from nice cowhide and using great nice stitching that combine for a look that is both stylish and classic with an amazing feel in your hand. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new iPhone wallet case, the quality of this case is above and beyond my expectations before getting this product in the mail.

Product Review: Wall-Mountable 4-Port USB Desktop Charging Station / Hub with 10-Foot Cable

My Review

For the past few years (prior to getting this charging station) I have used multiple USB wall chargers to charge my iPhones, iPads, and small cameras. Having to have multiple wall chargers plugged into a power strip was inconvenient, unorganized, and complicated. I have been wanting to consolidate my charging situation for quite some time and when I saw this USB charging hub I thought it looked awesome.

It was shipped the same day that I ordered it, and it even arrived a day earlier than I had expected which was a nice surprise! When I opened the box and took out the charging hub I was blown away by its aesthetics and build quality. It is surprisingly light, weighing in at only 7.2 ounces, but when you pick it up it feels very solid and durable. The top is made from either a high quality plastic or from aluminum and looks awesome with my Apple products. The bottom has two anti-slick strips which prevent it from slipping and make it great to keep on a desk, counter, nightstand, or the floor. If you don't want to set the charging hub somewhere, you can easily mount it to the wall.

I love the iSmart Charging Technology that is used in this charging hub! It detects what kind of device is plugged in automatically matches the maximum charging current designed for that device. Being able to use the new technology in many phones and tablets is awesome and allows for a faster charge! Another thing that I like about this charging station is that it is capable of sending 2.4A to each port at the same time which makes it so I can charge multiple iPads and iPhones simultaneously at full speed. I recorded the charging times of several of my devices with this charging station and then compared them to the charging times of my other wall chargers and found that this charging station was considerably faster than the wall chargers. The 10 foot detachable power cable is great, it allows me to just use one outlet and gives plenty of room to move the charging hub around.

This charging station looks great and works even better! So if you are looking to change the way that you charge, I would strongly recommend this charging hub! I like this charging station so much that am going to buy a couple more of these to give as gifts to my dad and older brother.

My Review

I recently reviewed the Premium Travel Makeup Bag & Toiletry Organizer for Women/Men from THINGS ON THE GO. This small travel organizer has become my primary toiletry bag for the gym and my weekend getaway trips. I also use it all the time to hold my headphones or my every day essentials.

This case comes in both a navy blue, which is marketed towards men and is labeled “Premium Men’s Travel Kit” and in light blue which says “Premium Women’s Travel Kit.” The only difference between the two is in the color and labeling. This square shaped bag measures about 5 ½ inches by 5 ½ inches and comes in at 3.2 inches wide. The case is made out of a quality thick waterproof material and has a nice carrying handle. It has a high quality zipper, It has a nice rubber zipper tag and a nice rubber product label. Inside the case there are two mesh pockets, which is great for organizing things.

For me this travel kit is the perfect size for putting in the gym bag or a weekend bag! I am able to keep everything I need for a weekend or the gym inside of it. For the gym I keep hair product, deodorant, travel sized toothpaste and toothbrush, a small mouthwash bottle, dental floss, and a comb. There are lots of other uses for this bag that I have found. It works great to keep cables and chargers, headphones, or your every day carry items. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice small bag, just keep in mind that a full size toothbrush will not fit due to its compact size, but it holds a travel size toothbrush without a problem.
